I grew up in Vienna and was eager to gain international experience early on. That international mobility – having lived in five countries including more exotic destinations such as Japan – was never accidental. I enjoy looking beyond the obvious and the familiar, and expose myself to new environments and cultures.
Looking back, there is a clear thread running through everything I have done. I have always worked in roles where change had to happen, either building something new from scratch, or turning around what is not working or can be improved, while connecting strategy to operational reality.
Over the last decade, I have led transformation across industries and organizational levels. I built a new business unit covering the full plastics value chain across Europe from the ground up for an international waste management company. Later, I took operational responsibility for a packaging plant in Germany, where it was all about stabilizing the site by increasing throughput, improving quality, and strengthening the leadership team.
As a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, my approach is structured and methodical on the technical side, and genuinely invested in the people side. Because the most reliable way to make improvements last is to build the trust that makes teams want to own and sustain them.
What I love most about the Lean Six Sigma approach: when it is truly integrated into the culture and DNA of an organisation – no matter which industry and which size – it has the power to unite people from leadership to shopfloor across all disciplines around a shared mission: making customers happy again and again in the most effective and efficient way, while genuinely enjoying the long-term journey of continuous improvement.
